This is the first painting I completed outdoors. It is a 12X18 inches acrylic on canvas painted at the Tree House in the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes, Cleveland.
I feel at peace when I am here. Apart from nature lovers, frequent visitors who come to this tree house are, downy woodpeckers, robins, cedar waxwings, cardinals and a host of other beautiful birds.

That is superb! I liked the light part in this picture. Do you normally take a picture and then draw it or be there and draw spontaneously?
Arvind ..its splendid - the Sunlight filtering through the lush green foliage coudn't have been captured better. Awesome!!
Awesome stuff. the lighting and shadows are lovely. And the woods are gorgeous.
Great job Arvindh! I loved that sunlight effect on the trees! Super cool work!!
Amazing work!!
Amazing and awesome!!! The play of shadows and light is wonderful. I think this is one of your best works so far. You are getting better and better. I really liked this, maybe its so green. :)
The light and the shadows blend beautifully, you can almost here the song of the birds in this picture.
Beautiful painting. Even though it is scanned it still has great color. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

I would love to see this place in person. Your painting makes me want to visit.
thank you for your comments...
I hope you continue visiting this beautiful tree-house and producing great art...
Beautiful work! I could easily understand why you would feel at peace there...what a wonderful place.
Lovely lighting, yet I can feel the cool shade. Beautifully done.
wow, i really love your work. as all have posted, you've really captured the light, i feel peaceful just gazing into it! thanks for your post on my site, so appreciate the support!
Very beautiful. Looks like an awesome place. I'm at peace in nature too.
it does look very peaceful. Lovely!
Thanks for the comment! Very good work too. I´d liked your style!
Nicely done. You very much captured the light on the trees and the light through the beams on the decking. It is nearly perfect coloring. The composition is very well chosen as well.
I do feel that there is something missing with the rest of the piece. The light promises contrast, but the rest of the piece has nearly the same value. It isn't so much of a problem at the small size, but makes itself apparent when enlarged.
Very impressive painting! I'm always amazed and inspired by people who are able to paint outdoors. Great work!
I really like the lighting and texture on this painting. It looks luscious. :)
I like it! I am interesting in painting out doors too, but i am not very good at this yet!
Thank you for your comment!
WOW. all of your art is absolutely deep and wonderful. Thanks for sharing :)
The shadow and lighting are excellent! Really nice painting :)
It's so much more fun to paint on location. I like the detail and looseness of this one. More contrast (darker shadows etc) might give it more depth.
