IF: Remember

You have another hand, remember? This 18 X 24 life drawing was made on a whim with my left hand - my non-dominant one.

Very cool. An interesting idea for loosening up too. May have to try that...!

Wow, that's a great result! I tried drawing with my lefthand when my right one was smashed a few years ago, and mostly I ended up doing comic scripts (no finished art). There's something about the other hand/side of the brain - when I used to write a lot of music, I'd deliberately listen in only the right ear of the headphones. Anyway, a great result!

Nice effect. Switching hands is a cool idea. It is like instantly regaining the childlike newness of drawing.

wow. are you sure you're not ambidextrous ?

Amazing! Drawing with my non-dominant hand really takes concentration for me - and even then it doesn't come out satisfactorily.

Well done! I never would have guessed you had used your non-dominant hand. The strokes are quite bold and confident.

Just a thought, I wonder how it would differ from the same subject drawn with your right hand?
