Beautiful, again! The blue works so well against the orange fall colours.

beautiful job on the water. i havent had the guts to try one out as yet. Is this your first attempt at painting water? I have this wonderful view of a lake (pukur :P) outside my balcony and have been taking pictures hoping to overcome my fear. Any tips for me? :D Ujwala

Arvindh,

Sorry to say that I have missed commenting on your pictures. Due to lack of time I was unable to do so. Though we keep watching your blogs for new pictures, I have not commented for want of time. Going through your pictures gives me a feeling of having gone into an Art Exhibition. You have great hands. Your parents are very lucky to have someone like you. We are equally lucky to have a blogger like you.

Alina, Dubukku, Mad Guru, Alexis, Tammy, Suji, Nirmala, Bingo and Betty,

Thank you all very much. Franky I did not expect this painting to elicit this kind of feedback. My low expectation was because I did not have confidence in the photograph doing justice to the big canvas.
I am working on a series on Reflections (among other abstracts inspired by nature). This painting is Reflection II, I am going to post Reflection I next.

Ujwala,
You are so lucky to be living right on the edge of a lake! I am confident that you will do a fabulous job rendering the lake. Just give it a shot - with your talent it will be a piece of cake.

Balaji,
Very touched by your words. I am aware of your time constraints. Post at your leisure.
