What I have narrated here as part of the journal entry is a true event that took place some four years ago. Since then I have made several paintings inspired by the patterns of barks.

It's great to see some of your thought process and sketches. Can't wait to see more!
wow! you've been journalling for 4 years? Super. I tried it out for a few months last year and am thinking of taking it up again. But mine was all written stuff with no illustrations :P It was part of the book that I was following - The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Do check it out if you havent already. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
wonderful journal pages.
Actually I created this piece for the project ("Journal"). I have not been journalling all these years. I did journal (between 1993-97) for a couple of years and then stopped. Hope to take it up again.
Ujwala, I did enjoy reading "The Artist's way"!
Lovely to see a glimpse of your journal. Thanks for sharing.
